Rancho de los Caballeros has a proud tradition of operating primarily as an "American Plan" guest ranch, which means our rates include three meals daily per person and use of The Ranch facilities. We also offer a "Modified American Plan" (breakfast and dinner daily), as well as a "Breakfast-Only Plan." While activities are not included in our rates, we offer a wide range of special packages that include horseback riding, golf, spa treatments, trap and skeet shooting, and much more. Children 4 and under stay FREE in a room with an adult, and we limit our accommodations to a maximum of 4 guests per room (not all rooms accommodate 4 people).

Gratuities & Taxes

In lieu of individual tipping, 15% of your daily room rate, corral, skeet, spa, transportation fees and bar charges will be added to your bill and distributed among the employees who serve you during your visit. Nothing more is necessary or expected. All room rates are subject to 8.27% state sales tax (subject to change).

Pets

We do not accept pets at Rancho de los Caballeros. There are excellent boarding facilities in Wickenburg.

Dress casually during the day at Los Caballeros. Western wear, riding attire, golf and resort wear are all popular and appropriate. We ask that bathing suit cover-ups and shoes be worn during the noon buffet, and no bathing suits or bare feet indoors at any time.

Dinner Attire

Jackets or Western vests are required for men and appropriate dress for ladies. No tee shirts or shorts for children in the main dining room.

Golf Attire

Los Caballeros Golf Club dress code requires collared shirts and soft-spike golf shoes or tennis shoes. Tank tops, cut-offs and short shorts are not permitted.

Check In/Check Out

Check in time is 4pm, and check out is 1pm.

Ranch Experience

For those who want to experience much of what The Ranch has to offer but still want to have time to savor the peace and quiet of the desert, this package includes some time on a horse, at The Spa and on the links.

Package includes:

This package comes in two versions – two or three nights of cowgirl fun for women only! 20,000 acres of spectacular desert beauty provide an opportunity to rejuvenate your soul. Bring a sister, girlfriend, daughter or mom, and enjoy a getaway package that gives you time to bond on horseback, by the campfire or even in The Spa if the horses wear you out!

Room Only Rates

We get rave reviews about our exceptional Executive Chef and sumptuous dining, which is why a vast majority of our guests choose to have a meal plan included in their room rate. However, should you choose to "rough it" during your stay, a room-only "European Plan" option is available.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum riding age?

The minimum riding age is 8 years old. Children younger than 8 are welcome to go for a short ride in the round corral and ride our kids horse.

Do I need to book tee times and spa appointments before I arrive?

It's not required, but recommended if you are planning on having a tight schedule.

Do I need to make a dinner reservation?

Yes, dinner reservations are recommended. If you are on one of our Full American Plan rates, your dinner is included in with your rate and a table will be reserved for you automatically. We do ask that you let the dining room know the time you will be dining.

Can my child ride with me on a horse?

No, but they are welcome to ride our kids horse in the mornings in the round corral. Or if they are 8 years or older, they can go on the kids ride in the morning along with all the other kids.

Does the rate include riding?

Our regular rates do not include riding. We do offer different packages throughout the season that include a number of activities. The SunC package includes a choice of riding or golf. Call our reservations department for availability.

What is the closest major airport?

Most of our guests fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The airport is about 90 minutes from the Ranch. Transportation from the Phoenix arport is available upon request for a charge. Wickenburg has an airport that can accomodate smaller private jets.

What are the room types and amenities at the Ranch?

Ranch casitas are available with king bed, two queen beds, or double and twin beds. Suites are available with a queensize murphy bed and private king bedroom. We offer a variety of room accommodations. All guest rooms are decorated in warm Southwestern colors with handcrafted furniture. Each room or suite is equipped with complimentary WiFi, cable television (DVD & VCR available on request), telephone/modem, refrigerator, coffee maker, air conditioning, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, and a private sun patio. Turn-down service is provided nightly.
